Meet your private college admissions counselor…
Hi, I’m David,
I remember going through the college admissions process with my son. I know that for him and his friends, the process seemed overwhelming.
From test-optional to deadlines, to SATs vs ACTs, to answering the “what is your “dream school?” question from relatives…no doubt the senior year in high school is very stressful for students and their entire families.
That is where I come in. Families I have worked with use comments like “created a clear and supportive game plan” and “helped bring order out of confusion” to describe my work with their son/daughter.
I have a Master’s Degree (Ed.M.) from the Harvard Graduate School of Education. I have worked with college-bound high school students and their families - in both public and independent schools- for more than thirty-five years.
My son ended up in a small, academically demanding liberal arts college that worked perfectly for him. Your needs will be different and unique to you. I will work with you to construct a personalized list of colleges for the application that will be both exciting and reassuring.
